Led by Tony-winning producer, Jenny Steingart, Ars Nova Entertainment produces theater, film, and television. 

Recent productions include All In: Comedy About Love on Broadway; Freestyle Love Supreme on Broadway (Tony Award), the US Tour and a residency at the Venetian Las Vegas; Mean Girls on Broadway and US Tour; Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812; Fiddler on the Roof in Yiddish; and Sir Patrick Stewart's A Christmas Carol. Jenny produced the documentary We Are Freestyle Love Supreme, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and is currently on Hulu. Ars Nova Entertainment produced the cult film Black Dynamite and the subsequent animated television series, Black Dynamite: The Animated Series on Adult Swim, and is the co-founding partner of the Japanese animation studio Ultra Super Pictures (Trigger, Sanzigen, Ordet and Liden Films).

Jenny is the co-founder of Ars Nova, New York City’s premier theater for emerging artists and new work. Ars Nova’s renowned writer’s group, Play Group,  has included such notable playwrights as Annie Baker, Bekah Brunstetter, Sarah DeLappe, Kristofer Diaz, Liz Flahive, Amy Herzog, Sam Hunter, Michael R. Jackson, Branden Jacobs-Jenkins, Stephen Karam, Steven Levenson, Matthew Lopez, Carly Mensch, Liz Meriwether, Janine Nabers, Antoinette Nwandu, Kim Rosenstock, Celine Song, Beau Willimon and Bess Wohl. For over 20 years, Ars Nova has helped launch the careers of such artists as Rachel Chavkin, Billy Eichner, Bridget Everett, Sam Gold, Tommy Kail, Dave Malloy, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Shaina Taub, Alex Timbers, Bowen Yang and many more. 

Ars Nova Theater is the recipient of the Lucille Lortel Award for “Outstanding Body of Work,” an OBIE Award and a Special Citation from the New York Drama Critics’ Circle for its sustained quality and commitment to the development and production of new work.
